Der ursprünglich distanzierte Coldwave-Sound weicht hier einer abgrundtiefen, beklemmend dichten und pulsierenden Atmosphäre. Getragen wird diese Neuinterpretation von dem dunkel-erotischen Gesang der Sängerin, der dem Stück eine verruchte, flimmernde Intimität verleiht. So verwandelt die Band den kühlen Schmerz der 80er-Jahre in eine hypnotische und tiefsinnliche Post-Punk-Hommage.
