LAKESIDE X RELEASE NEW SINGLE “NIGHTRIDER” featuring FACTORY FLOWERS remix by RIPPLE

New single from Czech electronic alternative band LAKESIDE X called „NIGHTRIDER“ is searching for hope in the ruins once again and hints at another theme from the upcoming album.

Prague-based alternative / synth-pop band Lakeside X are set to release their brand new single “Nightrider” on 17 July 2026 — the third single from their forthcoming studio album and again introducing another mood from its predecessors. Where “Factory Flowers” arrived as a jolt of industrial urgency and “Absinthe Dream” was a hypnotic lullaby with a silent warning signs, „Nightrider“ comes with throbbing beat, pure rock energy and chorus that will get carved into your brain.

„Nightrider“ is a raw, haunting song about a lone rider crossing a ruined world to reach the only light left: the one he loves. In the face of desolation, love remains the final rebellion, the last true compass. A slow-burn hymn for the lost and the faithful alike.

Accompanying the single is a music video shot in the streets of Los Angeles, the city of angels and dreams that may or may not come true.

“The idea of a lone rider was always on my mind. Someone from the comic book made in black and white, in the Sin City world. Someone who finds himself in a crumbling world of steel ruins and endless night, riding past fallen cities and dying stars, through ash storms and broken highways. It’s a story about driving on — not to escape, not to survive, but to find the only thing that matters – true love.”

FACTORY FLOWERS – RIPPLE REMIX

Following the success of the original version of the single “Factory Flowers,” Nightrider single contains a new remix of Factory Flowers by Ripple—one of the most distinctive drum & bass projects on the current Czech and Slovak scene

The duo Ripple consists of producers PmdR and Spill, who have been releasing music since 2018 on respected labels such as Elevate Recordings, Mainframe, and Skankandbass. Their energetic sound has earned the support of artists like Sub Focus, The Prototypes, and John B, and as resident artists, they regularly perform at the Let It Roll festival.

Ripple has imbued the song “Factory Flowers” with their signature style, full of energy, emotion, and modern dancefloor drum & bass. Summer is the perfect time for this remix to find its place at festivals, in clubs, and in headphones as you set out on your summer adventures.

. THE NEW ALBUM — AUTUMN 2026

Work is well underway on Lakeside X’s new full-length studio album, expected for release in Autumn 2026. The band are once again collaborating with acclaimed German producer Daniel Myer (Haujobb, Architect, DSTR, Covenant), who helmed their previous record Love Disappears. Joining him for the first time in a production capacity is Christian Eigner — drummer, versatile musician and producer and also a longtime member of Depeche Mode, with whom Lakeside X shared the stage in Prague in 2023 before an audience of more than 40,000.

The combination of Myer’s forensic electronic architecture and Eigner’s instinctive rhythmic power promises an album of considerable ambition. The band describe it as a record on which every track could be a single.

THE PLANETUM EXPERIENCE — DECEMBER 2026

Later this year, Lakeside X will perform a rare and extraordinary event at Prague’s Planetum in December 2026. The venue houses a 22-metre (approx. 72-foot) hemispherical LED dome screen — the largest and highest-resolution of its kind in the world, deploying advanced LED rather than traditional projection technology for a fully immersive 8K visual environment.

The show will take place in front of a strictly limited audience, pairing the band’s signature visual intensity with a space designed for total sensory immersion. Lakeside X have long been known for the power of their live visuals; at Planetum, that dimension will be taken to an altogether different scale. The show has been sold out shortly after its announcement.

ABOUT LAKESIDE X

Lakeside X are an alternative independent pop/rock band from Prague, Czech Republic, blending classic synth-pop influences with modern electronic music and alternative guitar sounds. Their music combines melancholy and energy, layered synthesizers with guitars, and is defined by the fragile, distinctive voice of frontman and songwriter Janne Marvannen.

With a career spanning over two decades and four studio albums, the band has performed at major festivals including Wave-Gotik-Treffen, NCN Leipzig, EXIT Festival (Serbia) and Rock for People (Czech Republic), and have shared stages with Depeche Mode, Front 242, Mesh, Suicide Commando and And One.
