With the arrival of virtual reality, this thought experiment has only become even more urgent and maybe even essential for humankind’s survival. Who better to give a devious artistic answer to this conundrum than Belgian dark electro duo MILDREDA with their monumental double album „Realities“? Mastermind Jan Dewulf is exceptionally qualified for this task among his peers as the Belgian musician holds a degree in philosophy. While the previous album „Blue-Devilled“ explored hell as defined by French existentialist Jean-Paul Sartre, the amused voice of Albert Camus whispers through the tracks of „Realities“. In tune with their deeply human subject, MILDREDA deliver their most emotional album to date. The band introduces colours and emotions rarely associated with a genre defined by cold, hard electronics.
