THE AWAKENING – THE LOST THEATRE

South African Gothic / Darkwave act The Awakening has recently announced the pre-order for their 13th album, The Lost Theatre. The new album follows their highly successful eponymous album (2024), which reached #3 on Germany’s Deutsche Alternative Charts and had videos amassing millions of views.

The Lost Theatre will be released on 23 August 2026 and features 11 all-new original songs, which frontman Ashton Nyte has promised: “take us somewhere new but comforting”.

Fans can pre-order the new album and a selection of limited-edition items from The Awakening’s official stores in Germany, the UK and the US.

The album will be supported by a tour of Germany, which follows last year’s worldwide The Haunting Tour, which saw the band headline shows in Germany, Poland, France, the Netherlands, the US, Canada, the UK, Mexico, and South Africa.
